Future Developments for 2010 (and beyond perhaps!)
Updated Sixtrac
Development work is due to start soon on a high output 6x6 for spraying, spreading, litter spreading and hauling with hook lift bodies. A new chassis, air suspension, 11 speed transmission and a 275hp engine will make the SixTrac 6275 an enviable high capacity machine.
Why 6 wheels? - The additional wheels spread the load better than simply fitting wider tyres and It can still carry the weight on relatively narrow tyres which is more convenient for row crop work and road transport.
Traction is increased and ground pressure reduced making it an ideal platform for winter slurry and muck disposal and injection.

8,000 litre sprayer
The Sixtrac will be capable of carrying up to 10,000 litres of water, 8,000 litres of liquid fertiliser or 6,500 litres of suspension fertiliser. Initial plans are for a 36M, heavy duty boom.
The working speed of the Sixtrac is designed to be up to 30kmh. The third axle and air suspension make this possible with it's additional stability and extremely smooth ride.

High output spreading
The Sixtrac is an ideal base unit for the Newleader L5034G4. This rig then becomes the the ultimate compost spreader for manure, waste water, industrial and paper mill waste, marl, poultry litter, fly ash and sludges.
Tandem hydraulic pumps increase spinner power by 50%. A 34" conveyor and oversized spinners each have dedicated circuits to provide extreme horsepower for heavy loads.
A mechanical PTO system will also be available on the new Sixtrac for alternative spreader systems which will give a PTO shaft output of over 100 horespower. |
